Biology

Biology for Sophomores is the study of life. We will cover such topics as cells and cell division, genetics and DNA, evolution, classification, and the various types of life, such as bacteria and viruses, fungi, plants, and animals. We will grow some plants, dissect some preserved specimens, and do various other labs and activities. We will also do bookwork/homework, such as worksheets, chapter reviews, vocabulary, and tests and quizzes.
